Attached files downloads - how to?

Hi all,
I do make good use of the forums and have done so for a few years. Now I am stumped! When a post says see attached files, or download attached files, I see nowhere to download the files in the post. Did, or am I still waiting for a bus that has left.
How do I do it?

You have to log in to your account, access a post with attached files and then you should be able to see/download the attachments.

There is a silly picture attached to this post that you can try to download.
