Title: multiple hmi interfaces
Post by: pjmaxx66 on May 18, 2018, 01:57:44 PM
Has one used AdvanvedHMI as multiple hmi's to control one plc? what I mean is we have a production line 50+ feet long and we want to control the plc from both ends of the line.
I know there are units that use one hmi as a slave and one as master.
any and al feed back is welcome. thank you.

I've done applications that had two terminals running the same application. It's obviously more burden on communications, but if you plan accordingly you shouldn't have any problems. So, mine weren't a master and slave, they were one in the same. I could set them up in zones, but that was just to allow specific functions on the specific terminal.
