Support Questions / Modbus RTU network with delta PLC Schneider Altivar 12,Omron e5C Temp.Conroller

Hi, Archie
i am trying to set up Mdbus RTU network with  Altivar 12 VFD 1 Omron e5c Temp Controller ,delta PLC DVP 28SV11 and AHMI PC. My AHMI Communication setting is 19200 , 8N2 and addresses are  Node 1=AHMI, 2=DVP PLC 3 Altivar VFD and 4= Omron Temp controller. i cant read or write anything from any members of network. My wiring and comms. setting on every device is right.
i tried to communicate AHMI-delta PLC , AHMI to VFD, AHMI- Omron Temp. Controller. one to one individually
but i dint get any data on my digital Panel meter in AHMI.

My Questions are ,
1) is AHMI always master on the network.
2)On AHMI component's property (Digital Panel meter..etc)where i can enter the node number on network.
i can put Data Address but from which node we are getting it, i cant put in.

Its working . I want to add/edit and delete the strings in array
To add new string I want to go to next empty place in the array. How can we  add /delete and edit array members?

now i can see the tags from array and select one. now i want to send selected tag to string type tag in PLC , "Current_Job" using a confirm selection button .
 how can i write selected value to Current_Job in PLC using Confirmation button.

Hi
I have compactlogix(with Eip module) having array of 20 string type members Containing job names to be sent to
Other Eip device. I want to creat scroll down list on AHMI  displaying  All members of string array and user can select one of them and Send it to current job tag (string) in plc.

How can I create such selection list in AHMI.

thanks,
i will be able to test it on Monday.
all three different subnets has their own devices with the subnet mask. i have to change them too. like 25.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0

all three plcs are connected to single Layer-3 Switch/Router(V LAN Routing).

But my Computer running AHMI is on one of the subnet(PC ip is 192.168.1.2).do i need to point any gateway(router) to get out of the local subnet and talk to 192.168.2.3 and 192.168.3.3 as they are on different subnet then PC?

How to get connected with 3 Compactlogix in three different subnets .
i have three compactlogix PLCs on three different subnets. (1). 192.168.1.3   (2).192.168.2.3     (3). 192.168.3.3
all PLCs are routed by router to comunicate with each other. how can i receive/send data in one AHMI project. between all three?
any router gateway property to be set?

I tried this. Did not work.
I created an array  of 10 INT in my controllogix and mapped it with
File 7. And in advanced HMI I addressed  word N7:0 @bit level N7:0/0 to 0/9
And N7:1 2 3 4 as words
I tried to press the square illuminated button  (N7:0/0 and 0/1) dint work.
Has any body tried this before.?
What's wrong I am doing?

Yes, I have controllogix Plc without any communication card in chassis.
i have only one option to communicate with PLC is DF1(Rs232).
is there any way to communicate with Controllogix using RS232 (USB to Serial ) from PC running AHMI.
like we do with SLC. we have SLC/Micro DF1 driver . what is mapping? how i can do that using PLC/SLC.

visual studio community 2015 installation stuck on .NET frame work

I am trying to install Visual Studio community 2015 on my laptop with win-7 premium home with 1 Gb ram.
I am stuck on "Microsoft.NET frame work 4.6.1 developer pack applying" for over 12 hours. I tried twice same thing.

I tried it with my laptop and works fine.
I have one questation about DHCP as it changes IP address dynamicly then we need to change AHMI communication settings every time If your IP is renew(changed ) by DHCP.

Is it possible to change/modify communication settings on the run without building project in Visual studio  (com port for rs232 and IP address  for ethernet )

hi archie,
This may be off track question. sorry for that.
but i have Micrologix 1100 i have connected it to wiffi router (linksys n300). how can i configure wiffi network to connect AHMI(laptop)?do i need to connect  router with internet or without connecting internet i can connect AHMI(laptop) in local configuration.
if any body have done wireless connectivity pl guide me.
