Advenced HMI rs232 scale weighing
« on: September 08, 2023, 10:19:29 AM »
It would be possible with Advanced hmi to make the connection with a weighing scale to obtain the weight data by rs232, I need to communicate with 10 scales by serial port.
thanks if anyone has a solution

How do you connect the 10 scales to your PC?

good morning
I was thinking of placing a USB Hub Hub adapter to 8 RS232 Serial Ports, or what could be the best solution

Assuming the protocol is not something that AdvancedHMI has a driver for, you could write some VB code to communicate to the scales. Often the scales will have a very simple protocol for retrieving data.
