3.6.8 DF1 crash when opening multiple forms
« on: September 02, 2014, 02:45:00 PM »
There seems to be a problem with the new 3.6.8 and having two windowforms with the DF1 driver.
When you open the second form the program crashes.
If you don't read anything on the second form it doesn't crash, so it seems to be a conflict with the com. between the two forms. Everything works with 3.6.1.

The DF1 driver is being reworked to address this problem.

In the mean time, check the Checksum property on each driver instanceto make sure it matches what the PLC is set to. I did find that auto AUTO baud rate detects it, if you open a second form, then driver on that form will change it.

I had done a little work on the DF1 driver. Give version 3.69 a try to see if it resolves the problem.

Hi, i also faced same problem, but when i changed baud rate AUTO to fixed 19200(as my plc set to 19200) it worked fine.
i dont know why DF1 crashes in auto detect?
