Support Questions / 399a and Remote OPC Server
« on: October 31, 2015, 11:02:49 AM »
I am developing an application using Kepware as my Remote OPC Server.

I am having a problem with very slow reads.  When opening the application, it takes 1 minute or more to populate the screen with values.  If I write a value, it changes in the PLC immediately but never seems to update on my application unless I restart the application.

If I run a localhost OPC server, it reads and writes immediately.

Is there anything that might be able to help my read times?

Any plans on developing some Siemens drivers such as MPI, Profibus, or Profinet?

Support Questions / OPC Driver
« on: December 03, 2013, 09:44:51 AM »
I am trying to update a project presently running on version 3.23 to 3.61.  I can't seem to get the new OPC driver to work.  I keep getting this error when I try to open the page with the OPC driver on it.

An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details.  The error is: Could not load file or assembly 'OpcNetApi.Com, Version=2.1.105.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=9a40e993cbface53' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Support Questions / 3.52 Bugs
« on: August 13, 2013, 11:52:59 AM »
Been playing this morning.  I am connected to a MicroLogix 1100 using the SLC ethernet driver.

I have run up on a problem with toggle on all the pushbuttons and selector switches.
I also cannot do a direct read, which may be my ignorance, I know things have changed, just not sure how to address it now.  I know ReadAny doesn't work any more, and apparently Read doesn't do it either.

Support Questions / Modbus TCP driver
« on: March 13, 2013, 09:08:19 PM »
Does the Modbus TCP driver only read back integers?  I am trying to read floating point data, but cannot get it to work.  I can however read them through kepserver.
