Regarding borders, if the digital indicator control could be made to not indicate or update, so that any other numerical indicator could be placed inside it, would make an easy way to add the same border as digital indicator for any numerical or text display and maintain consistency for a screen.
Alternatively, an AHMI panel control with adjustable bezel width would do the trick (similar to that other very expensive HMI that is a "wonder".

How does the stacklight indicator in AHMI work? I can turn the entire light off and on by toggling the PLCAddressVisible property, but similar bits to PLCAddressAmber, Green etc have no effect.

My thought was- we have some extra panelviews that arent being utilized...RSview (even if already included) may be more of a headache for change management and support going forward than AHMI would be (restoring a AHMI system simple as copying a folder from a thumb drive).

OK thanks Archie for saving me a lot of testing trying to get that working. I guess the workaround (for now)is to read and copy the data from the DH+ SLC to the CLX PLC first, then read the CLX version from AHMI.
We have multiple DH+ networks set up like this with the majority of our plant's data behind these DH-RIO interfaces- if you ever get the time to add this feature, it would be a great one!

Support Questions / accessing SLC500 addresses from a 1756-DHRIO ethernet bridge connection

Is it possible to access (display with the Advanced HMI digitalpanelmeter indicator) any SLC 500 tags with the following RSLinx processor communication path?:
DT-STATION!AB_ETH-1\172.25.45.23\Backplane\0\CH A\4
This is a CLX processor and rack with a DHRIO card that runs out to a DH+ network composed of 10 or so SLC 5/04 racks.
0 is CH A
4 being the DH+ node address of the SLC 5/04 PLC.
Is any of this communication setup supported in AHMI?
