I've discussed with several local users and customers about coming to our facility for a half day hands-on session working with AdvancedHMI. I am looking to introduce new users, show new/unknown features to long time users, and have discussions on the future direction to take AdvancedHMI. There is a lot of interest from people that are reasonably close by. So my question to everyone is.... Would this be interesting to you and how far would you be willing to travel to attend? For those not familiar, our facility is located in central SC.

I can't make it, but would be interested in a thread here about the future direction.

Archie, as you know I am in central SC as well so I would would love to attend. Please keep me posted as to any schedule. Thank you.
P.S. It's good to see you still replying, I guess you were not the $1.6B lotto winner:)

I wasn't the lucky one to become an overnight billionaire. If I ever won the lottery, you would probably see a lot more of me here because I would hire a crew to do all of my other work so I could spend 100% of my time on AdvancedHMI related development.

Archie I am in Anderson SC and would definitely be interested.

I am preparing things at the office to do half day introductions to AdvancedHMI. I am hoping something can happen before the end of the year, but I will let everyone know.
-
I would be/am interested but it may be hard to mesh with my schedule. Definitely a no the rest of this year.
Is there any way to video it? Throw it up on youtube?
-
yes I would come. I'm in New Jersey so anytime from Jan-Mar would be good :)

Archie,
I have just started to learn this. I have created a project in VS 2017 and AdvancedHMI downloaded. I placed a Button (On1) and a light (pilotlight1) on my mainform. I have placed COM1 in the properties of the Button(RS232 db9). I am using a Micrologix 1763 to light a light. Can you help me with the programming needed for the Button and pilot light?
And yes I am interested in training there. Where and when are the training dates.
later: I found the answer on an old Youtube video thanks. No programming just address settings in properties.

Follow the 6 standard steps in the Mainform.
