Thanks, I am just getting back to this project now,

Can you give an example of how I would set the distance?

For example,
operator enters a number via keyapd, hits enter
that number prints a command of FLXXXXXX

Hey guys,

We have a stepper motor with advanced driver from Automation direct.
Can someone tell me if it's possible, (and point me in the right direction  on how to) communicate with the driver via serial command from Adv hmi?

Eg. In the host window, "VE(XX)cr"  sets the velocity, how would I go about setting it up so I could enter that on the HMI screen and send to the driver?

HEY GUYS,

So im a complete noob to this stuff and and VERY slowly catching on.  But in this instance, I messed something up for sure.

I added the DLL file to the AdvancedHMIControls\Support, then added Reference to AdvancedHMIControls project , the button shows up and looks great! but no plc click......

Please speak slowly and use small words, lol

Thanks in advance

Support Questions / Image placement
« on: May 03, 2017, 01:35:31 PM »
Hey all,

I want to have a second form that defaults to maximum (fill frame) - that's easy

Secondly, I want an image that defaults to the right top hand corner and fills roughly 3/4 of the screen so my buttons can be beside it - again easy

Lastly, I want 4 buttons in the corners of that image

it works great on the screen I'm working great on, how can I set this up so it will default to maximize and look good on any screen being used as it may be a larger or smaller screen

Hey all,

Playing around with latte panda and advanced hmi, great little combo. LP has arduino built into it. Anyone know if there's a way to use the input/outputs on it with this software?

Hey guys,

Just a few questions about designing and adding your own Buttons and backgrounds.

Does any have any suggestions for sizing and resolution that will still look good and proportional on say a 7" screen or a 50" screen?

Tips & Tricks / Re: AdvancedHMI on a Raspberry Pi

tried using the original raspberry pi with the steps mentioned in the first post. Applications seems to load fine (first page has nothing but changeform buttons) but crashes after clicking the change form buttons going to the screens with the data displays.
