Title: Multiple driver
Post by: andreaboschetti71 on November 21, 2013, 03:44:27 PM
I know that it's possible to put more than one ethernet driver in the same page (i.e. for different pollrate) but I want to know if this it's possible also for DFCOM driver (or that creates a conflict in the serial port?) thank you

Behind the scenes the driver instances use a shared data link layer. If there are more than one driver instances with the same COM port, the port will only be opened once and the communications from those instances will pass through this same data link layer.

The DF1 driver has not been put through exhaustive paces with multiple poll rates, so I'mnot sure how stable it will be.
