I downloaded the latest AdvancedHMI (v361) from Sourceforge and installed VB express 2010.  The beginning project supplied with AdvancedHMI build successfully, but I can't drop controls on the mainform.vb.  When attempting to drag and drop the cursor turns to the NOT symbol (O with a diagonal line through it).

What might be the problem?

Thanks,
Paul

Are you dragging them from the ToolBox? You will see them in the Solution Explorer, but you cannot drag them from there.

Archie,

Thank you.  That was the problem.  I am not an experienced VB  user and and did not notice the Toolbox hidden over on the left.  The Solution Explore was open on the right grabbed my attention.
